As development professionals we are often asked to write grant proposals as a quick way to solve your organization's funding problems or balancing the budget. This is not a one grant fix, it is a process that must be developed with your organizational needs as the fore-front priority for long-term stability. We will discuss determining funding priorities, preparing a draft grant proposal, finding potential funders, cultivating those funders, tailoring your proposal for each funding opportunity and responding to the acceptance or rejection of your grant proposal.
