“More Than A Quota” will creatively explore the notion of diversity in nonprofit organizations in general and in small philanthropy offices, specifically. We will highlight several key points in acknowledging the role implicit bias plays in office dynamics; creating a culture of inclusivity and honoring the value of diversity in the workplace as a means for successful philanthropy.

Diversity is NOT equity, so how can organizations create a healthy, productive environment for all employees to thrive together?


The session will be introspective, creative and engaging for all.

About the Speaker:

Evelin Aquino is an independent consultant, life coach, skilled trainer, master facilitator and mentor - dedicated to the empowerment of individuals and communities. Her work over the past 20 years has allowed her to interact with a wide variety of organizations in the non-profit and educational sectors throughout the US. Evelin's experience with these organizations ranges from coaching, professional/leadership development, staffing, program design, program management and mentoring. Evelin has designed and led numerous training workshops, specializing in leadership, equity and transformation. Her combination of organizational development and passions for learning and change allow her to move flexibly and efficiently amongst diverse organizations.
