Managing your career takes developing a plan that makes the best personal and professional sense for you. Without this, you might find yourself doing what’s convenient or what others want you to do and only to discover that your career doesn’t align with your wants or needs. Join Colleen DelVecchio, director of alumnae engagement at Smith College, to learn how to get started on the professional trajectory you want.

About the Speaker:
Colleen DelVecchio is the Director for Alumnae Engagement at Smith College, focusing on professional development, volunteer training, women’s leadership and connecting alumnae with students. Her background includes 20 years of career counseling, extensive curriculum development for in-person and e-learning experiences, public speaking, and developing innovative programming. Through the development of mentoring programs, webinars, symposia, conferences, group career counseling sessions and online resources, Colleen has worked with alumnae to stay connected to their alma mater. She has also worked with non- profit agencies nationwide on organizational change, board management and start-up program development. Colleen has a BA in psychology from Boston University, a MA in nonprofit management from Bay Path University.
