Superheroes have unique gifts that they use to make the world a better place. They are often plagued with self-doubt, stray from their path, and want to give up, but when they reconnect with their powers and purpose, they do great things and feel deep satisfaction.  I believe we all have superpowers and can find deep satisfaction in making the world a better place.  But often our work leaves us feeling burnt out and frustrated, and we want to give up.  We feel like we have lost touch with why we do what we do.  The only antidote is reconnecting with our purpose and power.  We must strip away the layers and rediscover our unique superpowers, so we can make the impact that brings us satisfaction.  In this lecture we will learn how to access our powers and get back to our purpose.

Sarah Carlan holds an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work, a BA in Neuroscience and Animal Behavior from Mount Holyoke College, and has over 15 years experience working as a therapist and group facilitator. Before starting her own practice, she worked as a school counselor and a Child and Family Therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Over the years she's facilitated support groups, team trainings, and retreats for schools, hospitals, and nonprofits.

Today, Sarah coaches a diverse range of clients, including C-suite executives, educators, medical providers, and equestrians. Through her work, she provides actionable evaluation, feedback, and strategies that resource purpose-driven individuals and organizations as they navigate change.
