Donors are increasingly finding creative ways to try and make the difference they want to see in the world.  This creativity can be incredibly beneficial to your organization. But when does it become problematic?  When does it put your organization at risk?  By putting a Gift Acceptance Policy into place, you prepare your organization for the unexpected.  This will allow you to be more responsive to your donors, while protecting your organization from unnecessary risk.  We'll review the basics and briefly discuss different types of gifts your organization may want to prepare for from cash to trusts and everything in between.  We'll touch on Naming and Gift Minimums as well.
