About the Topic:
Negotiation is something we do on a daily basis at work. Whether it is internally with colleagues or externally with potential customers and clients. In the case of fundraising, there is no question that professionals in the field use the skills and knowledge of negotiation to interact with potential and current donors. In this workshop you will learn how to strategically approach your negotiations with donors as well as some core skills to succeed in your varied negotiations.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Joshua N. Weiss is the co-founder, with William Ury, of the Global Negotiation Initiative at Harvard University and a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Negotiation Project. He is also the Director and creator of the Master’s of Science degree in Leadership and Negotiation at Bay Path University. He received his Ph.D. from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University in 2002.
